Hailing from the foothills of the Appalachian mountains, Sam Wise is a Reclaiming witch and eclectic pagan with years of experience combining magic, activism, and queer culture. She is the author of Lavender Witchcraft: Crafting Queer Magical Practice, coming in 2026 from Moon Books. Sam is a member of AIRA (the Ableism-Impacted Reclaiming Alliance) and the Fellowship of Fire and Ice, a radical Norse pagan fellowship. Outside of the magic circle, they enjoy tabletop games, Renaissance fairs, going to metal shows, and snuggling with their many animal companions.
